Whitinsville-based UniBank has named Douglas Moisan, a former Commerce Bank finance executive, as its new chief financial officer and senior vice president.

Moisan will assume both the role of senior vice president and CFO, responsible for financial management of the bank and executing the bank's financial policies and procedures. UniBank President and CEO Sam Pepper announced Moisan's hiring Wednesday.

Moisan comes to Unibank with more than 21 years of banking experience, most recently as senior vice president for finance at Commerce Bank in Worcester. He holds several degrees, including a bachelor's degree in business administration from Assumption College and an MBA from Nichols College.
