Former Hanover Insurance Group CEO Joseph Zubretsky now leads California-based Molina Healthcare.

Behavioral and mental health services organization Pathways by Molina, a subsidiary of California-based Molina Healthcare and former Hanover Insurance CEO Joseph Zubretsky's new employer, is closing its Worcester and Springfield locations.

Effective March 6, Pathways will close the two sites, which will affect 162 workers, according to filings with the state, including 56 workers in Worcester.

The filings did not indicate how many patients would be affected.

Pathways was formed in 2015 after Molina Healthcare acquired Providence Human Services and Providence Community Services, according to Molina Healthcare.

As of Wednesday morning, both Massachusetts locations were still listed on the company's website. Calls to the Worcester office went unanswered Wednesday.

In October, Molina Healthcare named Zubretsky as its new president and CEO just 16 months after he took the same title at Hanover.

According to the company's financial filings on its website, Molina lost $97 million for the quarter ending Sept. 30 and was down $250 million for the year.
