Parkview Apartments sold for $3.2M

A 37,000-square-foot apartment complex on Barnes Avenue in Worcester has sold to a Franklin businessman for nearly $3.2 million. 
The Parkview Apartments, located at the end of Barnes Street, were sold Tuesday to 97 School St., LLC, a Franklin-based entity registered to Bechara Fren, according to Worcester property records.
Hanan Bahnassi was listed as the seller. Bahnassi is the wife of Amjad Bahnassi, who built a $5-million facility on Shrewsbury Street to house his psychiatry practice and other tenants. 
According to state business records, Fren is the principal of several property management entities in Central Massachusetts.
The Parkview Apartments were built in 1973 and ownership has now changed hands five times since 1992, according to land records.
The property was last assessed this year for just under $2.35 million.
